ENTRIES in the Inverell heat of the 2009 Telstra Road to Tamworth national talent competition will close on Sunday.
A prize package worth more than $140,000 is up for grabs and aspiring country music stars are encouraged to enter for a chance to win a full album deal with ABC Music and one of two trips to country music capital Nashville, USA.
The Inverell regional heat of the competition will be held as part of the Telstra Country Wide Sapphire City Festival, at Campbell Park, Inverell, from 5pm on Saturday, October 25: www.beinvolved.telstra.com/countrymusic.
The overall Telstra Road to Tamworth winner will receive a return trip to Nashville to record an album with ABC Music and perform at the CMA Festival, the world's largest country music festival, attracting annual crowds in excess of 200,000 people.
